Fines:

Points	Fine	Description
2	1000	N should be displayed for 2 years.
2	80	Should be accompanied by full learner with 2+ experience, else vehicle will be impound.
x		Maximum 7 points allowed to accumulate in 2 years learner permit.
		Max 12 points in 3 years for experience drivers, 6 month ban
	200	50-80mg alcohol in 100ml – 3 months ban

main fine :

breaking red – 80 , is usually 80 euro + 2 fines

Stoping distance:

always less than speed in dry condition: boundary values 20 , everything else 30

Driving practical test:

Before starting:

• Set the seat
• Set seat belt
• Set the mirrors
• Set to first gear

Before Moving of:

• Check all the three mirrors
• Check over the left sholder
• Put right indicator
• Check over the right sholder
• Move of looking in mirror
• GIve a last right glance

Before changing lane:

• Check both center and then side mirror before signaling
• Put the signal
• Give a sideway glance before changing

Before Parking:

• Look mirrors before slowing down and signaling
• Indicate
• Keep indicator on till parking completes
• Turn of indicator if its a big road with enough spaces else leave it on.

Note: now follow before moving of procedure

Stoping:

• Slow down gradually
• Set to gear on if you are at the front of lane/ Set to neutral other wise
• Put hand brake

Hazards:

• See the mirrors
• Indicate right
• Move away from parked cars well in advance
• Turn of indicator after your vehicles reaches the parked car
• Stop and stay near to center line, but with enough space from the parked car if there are on coming vehicle ( keep right indicator on )

Even if there are some roads to right , give signal as it is safer to do

Bends (Turns and not junctions):

• Look at the mirrors
• Stay close to left (For right turns)
• Stay at center (For left turns) ( Note: don’t stay close to center line at any point of driving test)

Junctions:

Remeber right of way

• Vehicle already on the major road have right of way ( in T juction the hroizontal road is the major road , -| in such road vertical is the major road (the road that ends is minor)
• If a vehicle is coming from opposite side and want to go straight. Then that car have right of way.
• IF one car want to go left then that car have right of way
• When you cross , lean forward and look both the sides fastly and give a final glance to the opposite side of your movement.

Roundabouts:

• Vehicle on right have right of way
• Everything to left of 12 O clock , stay in left lane (including straight)
• Everything to right right lane
• On approaching slow down and put to second or 3rd gear. Stop if vehicle are coming from right and put to 1st gear.
• Check mirror and give signal before leaving roundabout , give sideway glance

Note: the 12 O clock rule applies only for roads without marking . If road marking says to use right lane for straight road. THen use that lane. Always road marking has preference

See the road signs of round about to know at which side of the 12 o clock is the exit

If no sign , slow down well in advance and see the roundabout and decide accodingly.
